Registered Manager

Kevin is the registered manager of Nightingale House residential home and home care services. Kevin started in care with voluntary work and found a love for delivering high standard care to the elderly and worked his way up through, activities coordinator, care assistant, senior care assistant and then into management in 2016. With experience managing small to medium homes and nursing homes Kevin maintains his drive for high standards with a vast knowledge of what it takes to develop and sustain great care.

Sharon has a history of working in care for over 30 years, having managed Merrie Loots Farm (one of our homes) for 24 years of those. With a background of mental health nursing, she has studied dementia care with Bradford University and keeps all skills updated through ongoing training in all aspects of care delivery . Sharon has now joined the home care team as Care Coordinator.

Sharon has great experience and knowledge in care home management and assists all the homes in the company when required so there is a consistent strength throughout all of our homes.

Elmira has been with Nightingale House for over 14 years and her heart and passion for the residents is second to none!

Elmira is an integral part of Nightingale and is the person you want to speak to when you have a question about your loved ones. Elmira is fully qualified up to a level 5 diploma in leadership and management, as well as others. 

Elmira commands high standards and great attention to detail and is recognized as one of the most key appointments in the company.

Carol has worked with Nightingale house for 5 years as a senior but has been in care for 35 years so has a lot of experience and knowledge in how much care has change which benefits us greatly. Carol loves the residents and treats them as she would want to be treated and helps create a homely atmosphere. Carol has been a valued member of the team and has overcome challenges through a pandemic and supportive to structural changes to help improve the home for the residents.

Julie started her care career in Nightingale House as a care assistant and quickly showed natural leaderships skills by leading by example. Julie is very passionate in her approach to care and will always make sure a need is met. Julie also has wonderful support from her family who volunteer their time to help the home and our residents which just shows the type of person we are so blessed and grateful to have.

Claire came to Nightingale House with a background of leading care in the community and has embraced her senior role. Claire has worked in the care sector for 19 years and has always had a passion for the job in and out of work, caring for others in her own time. Claire gets great satisfaction from learning about the individual and building trust so they don’t feel like they in a work based setting, this is their home.

Sarah has worked with Nightingale for 7 years and has become another integral part of the team. Sarah has a fantastic work ethos and high standards and feeds into all roles in the home to help maintain high standards across the board.

Sarah has a genuine care for the residents that drives her to be thorough and expects the same from others.

Sarah goes out of her way to help anyone in need  and will often get involved with activities and decorations in the home to celebrate events throughout the year.

Bradley has worked in care for over 15 years and has a huge heart for residents that stemmed from personal experiences giving help from a young age. Bradley has a particular interest in helping those that are unable to help themselves, “I just love older people and caring”.

Bradley is naturally energetic with the residents and helps them enjoy their days by talking and laughing with them.

Jahid Came to work with us from Bangladesh and is wholly embracing life as a carer by showing true empathy, a willingness to grow and learn and is always seeking feedback to improve himself and others. Jahid has taken to care like a duck to water and is loved by staff and residents alike in the home.

Jahid shows skills that will certainly see him in a senior role in the future.

Jan has worked in care all her working life in various positions and is one of the most passionate people you could meet when it comes to the residents. Jan is 100% committed in her role, with herself, her time and her priorities for great care and will do all she can to improve standards for the benefit of the residents.

We are blessed to have such a committed person in this role and could ask for more than Jan gives.

Jan ensures the residents get what they want with the entertainment and introduces new things to try.

Lynn will do anything asked of her to help meet the residents needs in the manner they wish it to be done.

Mandy has worked in Nightingale for 2 years in the domestic role and takes pride in helping keep the home clean and tidy with her team.

Mandy will always take time to involve the residents in what she is doing and keeps them entertained while working with lots of fun and laughter.

Owusu has joined the Nightingale care team to work predominantly in the community for the home care services but is also a fantastic support to the care home when needed. Owusu has quickly become a well respected and valued member of our team.

Owusu has a naturally caring personality and fills people with confidence while delivering great care.

Owusu took pride in travelling to Canada to help those in need during the Covid pandemic and now blesses us with his love and grace.

Charlotte has worked for Nightingale in various roles through an agency before choosing to stay with us permanently as a full time cook.

Charlotte take immense pride in what she does and tries to be very diverse in her range of cooking to satisfy everyone as she has always had a very caring nature and loves to work with and for the elderly.

Charlotte is well organised and loves to be part of the whole team in providing nutritious and tasty food to all the residents.

Laurie has been part of the Nightingale team for over a year as a domestic and loves being part of the family. Laurie is dedicated to her role and is willing to do anything for the residents and the home.

Laurie is a very bubbly person and will always take time to stop and talk to residents and does everything with a smile.

What types of shifts do you offer?

We are constantly growing and have a wide variety of shifts you can choose from. We have long shifts, short shifts, day shifts, night shifts, transportation shifts and live-ins. We are available 24hrs a day 7 days a week so we are flexible and will work around your schedule.

Where can I work?

We currently have 5 care homes throughout Essex and Surrey. You can work at the care home that is most convenient for you and you can choose the cases that are closer to your home.

Do you provide training and furter education?

All staff have training and are encouraged to ask for further training and qualifications on the area they have a keen interest in.
