Exploring India Iconic Sights

We spent time exploring fascinating facts about this incredible nation, learning about its rich history, famous landmarks, and varied regions. From the majestic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, to bustling cities like Delhi and Mumbai, and the peaceful landscapes of Kerala and Goa, our discussions sparked lots of curiosity and enthusiasm. We also spoke about India’s cultural traditions, festivals, and its long, captivating history.

Day Trips into History

Of course, no visit to India would be complete without experiencing its wonderful cuisine! For lunch, we were treated to a delicious meal of butter chicken curry, served with vegetable rice, paratha, and a fresh salad. And to end on a sweet note, we enjoyed homemade rice pudding or gulab jamun, a popular Indian dessert. 😋

It was a fantastic day, filled with learning, laughter, and lots of tasty food. We look forward to our next Around the World To adventure!

The team are always responsive to our requests in a very positive way. They hold events constantly, which keep the residents happy, interested and promotes their health in this way. They’re forward thinking, by taking residents whenever possible on one to one basis days out. Their page on social media has almost daily updates within the home, exhibiting pictures of the residents enjoying singing, drawing, painting, puzzles etc. I have never known a care home with such a caring outlook from top to bottom.

Lovely home, my mum is very happy here. The staff are amazing and very caring, food is good mum is diabetic and well taken care of. Mum has her hair done regularly which we love. Thank you to the manager and all the staff they do a marvellous job.

Can’t praise the staff enough. Lovely homely feel with lovely gardens. All staff listen to requests and understand individual needs. Dad is assisted with all care when needed but also makes correct judgements with my dad when he feels he can manage. All staff seemed happy to be there and always greeted with smiles a good vibes. If anyone is looking for care for their loved one then Nightingales is the place. My brother is so happy and is absolutely thriving. The staff are always happy to help and greet you with smiles. He’s been there for 6 months now and all my worries are behind me as I know he’s being cared for with love and affection. My recommendation is 100!

Nightingale is a friendly, well-run care home. The Manager and Deputy Manager are very hard working, accessible and continuously progressing Nightingale to provide a pleasant environment for all its residents. They cater for a large range of needs with the utmost professionalism in a friendly and efficient way. On a personal note, I feel my parents are very well catered for. They are safe, well attended and all the staff are warm and friendly so giving a family feel for every resident.
